At St. John of the Cross, we are a community of believers that come together to Worship, to enjoy the fellowship of friends and new acquaintances and serve the greater community.

St. John's is active in the local community.

The Bristol Community Food Pantry is partially staffed by St. John of the Cross members more than two months of the year, and parishioners generously collect non-perishable food items for the Pantry. 

​

In partnership with Bristol Elementary School, St. John's supplies backpacks, school supplies and winter accessories at the beginning of each school year and at Christmas, food baskets and gifts to families in need. 

​

In 2021 our drive-up Strawberry Social was offered free to the community, serving over 175 strawberry sundaes.
